The ancestral hall is one of the most significant cultural buildings in Chinese and even Asian traditional culture, carrying the historical traditions of people's worship, blessings, and clan activities. In some remote mountain villages, the appearance of ancestral halls has gradually changed, with the decline in the population of remaining residents leading to dwindling incense offerings. Le Ming Village in Guangdong Province has an ancestral hall dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Due to the infrequent visits, it has gradually become a lively place for animals. Inside this ancestral hall, I set up infrared cameras for long-term filming, capturing the activities of various animals such as bees, birds, wild cats, lizards, butterflies, as well as the worship process of returning villagers. This ancestral hall has become a witness to the changes brought by nature and the village's change.
