    photography, cockroach feces

Insect droppings have always been defined by me as microscopic sculptures. Food is shaped into unique forms by the insect's mouthparts, digestive system and anus. And cockroaches can almost eat most of the organic matter, I would like to praise them as the most hardworking and excellent sculptors.

Cockroaches are common pests in southern China. They are undoubtedly feared and loathed by people. They sometimes bite clothes, book pages, and food, and these things with personal memories or cultural information pass through the cockroach's abdomen and become feces. I collected these feces,I photographed them with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and exported them as huge pictures. At this time, the cockroach feces look like huge floating meteorites, planets or monument. In other words, cockroaches are helping humans preserve their memories in their own way.
